📱 Android phone or tablet

1. Open this website in Chrome on the phone, or type /apk
2. The Vylo Player file downloads. Tap “Open”.
3. If Android asks, allow “Install unknown apps” for Chrome.
4. Tap “Install”, then “Open”.

📺 Android TV, Google TV, Android box (Xiaomi Mi Box, Nvidia Shield, TCL, Philips, Sony…)

1. On the TV, open the Play Store and install the free Downloader app (orange icon).
2. Open Downloader and allow it to install apps if the TV asks.
   Otherwise: Settings → Apps → Security → Unknown sources → turn on Downloader.
3. In the address box, type /apk then “Go”.
4. Choose “Install”, then “Open”. Vylo Player then appears in your apps.

Tip: after installing, Downloader offers to delete the downloaded file. You can accept to free up space.

🔥 Amazon Fire TV Stick / Fire TV Cube

1. In the Fire TV search 🔍, look for Downloader and install it.
2. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps → turn on Downloader.
   If “Developer options” is missing: Settings → My Fire TV → About, then press the name of your Fire TV 7 times.
3. Open Downloader and type /apk then “Go”.
4. Choose “Install”, then “Open”.

💾 From a USB stick (TV or Android box without Play Store)

1. On your computer, download the Android file: download Vylo Player (.apk).
2. Copy this .apk file onto a USB stick.
3. Plug the stick into the TV or Android box.
4. Open the file manager (“Files”, “File Explorer”, or an app such as X-plore or File Commander), go to the USB stick and open the Vylo Player file.
5. Allow the installation if the TV asks, then “Install”.

The Fire TV Stick has no USB port: use Downloader instead, it is simpler.

🪟 Windows PC

1. Download the installer: Vylo Player for Windows (.exe).
2. Open the file. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click “More info” then “Run anyway”.
3. Vylo Player installs and appears on the desktop.

You can also copy the installer onto a USB stick to install it on another PC.

🍎 Mac

1. Download Vylo Player for Mac (.dmg) and open it.
2. Drag Vylo Player into the Applications folder.
3. The first time: right-click Vylo Player → Open → Open.

📺 Samsung and LG TVs

Samsung and LG do not allow installing apps from a website or a USB stick: it has to go through their store. Vylo Player will be there soon.

1. Meanwhile, the easiest way: plug a Fire TV Stick or an Android TV box into the TV (about 30 to 50 USD) and follow the guide above.
2. You can also try the web version: open the TV's browser and go to /app

Direct installation is possible in developer mode from a computer. Contact us if needed.

📱 iPhone, iPad, Apple TV

Apple only allows the App Store. Vylo Player will be there soon. Meanwhile:

1. Open Safari and go to /app
2. Tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”.
3. Vylo Player appears like an app on your home screen.
